INFORMATION FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES: REFERRALS
HOW THE REFERRAL PROCESS WORKS
Do you believe that joining one of our courses would help you and your family make the changes you all need to make?
If the answer is yes, then please speak to your child's school or your local family centre or hub to find out if there is a ChiPS Dinosaur School programe due to run in your area.
If you have a social worker, talk to them about what help is available and whether attending a parenting programme might be right for your family.
Once a referral has been agreed with us, either by phone or email, you can print, complete and return the referral forms to Paula Evans. The contact and instruction details you need are all in the pack, which can be found by clicking on the link below.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE WORKSHOPS?
One child and up to two adults from each family attend our ten-week programme. The children work on emotions and behaviour in their workshop. Meanwhile, their parents/carers work together on parenting skills with two facilitators in a nearby room.
